Why we made it
The jump she used to make without thinking.
Biscuit is a twelve-year-old Cavalier who spent her whole life on the couch beside us. Then one winter she just… stopped. She’d stand at the cushion, look up, and walk away.
The vet called it early arthritis. The ramps we tried were ugly, the stairs we found were rickety and slid across the floorboards — and Biscuit wanted nothing to do with any of them.
So we built stairs we’d actually leave in the living room: memory foam, a curve that’s kind to old hips, a base that doesn’t budge. Three days in, she climbed up on her own and curled into her spot. She hasn’t looked back.

Built to last
Made like furniture, not a pet accessory.
This isn’t a flimsy foam wedge that sags in a month. It’s built with the materials and finishing you’d expect from a proper piece of furniture.
The difference
From watching her give up to watching her climb.
What changes the week a senior dog finally has a safe way up.
- Stands at the couch, looks up, and walks away
- Jarring jumps that wear down ageing joints
- Stiff and sore after every leap down
- Left out of the family spot on the sofa
- Climbs up to her spot on her own
- Joints protected by a gentle, cushioned rise
- Comfortable and confident, up and down
- Back beside you every single evening

Good questions
Everything else you might be wondering.
Will it slide on hardwood or tile?
No. A full-width non-slip rubber base grips hardwood, tile and polished concrete so the stairs stay exactly where you place them, even when your dog is mid-stride.
What size should I choose?
Measure the height of the couch or bed your dog needs to reach. As a rule of thumb: 2 Step for low couches and small breeds, 3 Step for standard couches and most beds, and 4 Step for high beds and larger dogs. Not sure? Size up, more steps mean a gentler, lower-rise climb.
Can I wash the cover?
Yes. The cover unzips completely and is fully machine washable. Cold wash, tumble dry low, and it’s back on in minutes, no spot-cleaning around your dog.
Is it safe for a dog new to stairs?
It’s designed for first-timers. The 17° incline is deliberately approachable and the treads are grippy, so even nervous or anxious dogs build confidence quickly. Most owners pop a treat on each step for the first few days.
What weight does it support?
The high-density core and reinforced frame comfortably support dogs up to 50 kg, so it suits everyone from tiny Chihuahuas to large Labradors and Staffies.
Does it work well on carpet?
Absolutely. The rubber base grips carpet just as securely as hard floors, and the structured core means the steps won’t sink or shift on softer surfaces.
